Wildflower Harvest Moon | Framed Mixed Media Original Artwork
The last wildflowers of summer, gathered under a golden crescent—this is my “Wildflower Harvest Moon.”
Original Mixed media (gouache, watercolor, ink, Posca pen) on paper
4x4 inches (framed, 6X6 inches light wood)
“Wildflower Harvest Moon” is a gathering of all that blooms and fades, a crescent woven from the last bright petals and the first whispers of wheat.
Layered washes of honeyed gold, rose, and soft amber swirl together, echoing the warmth of late sunlight and the gentle promise of harvest. Each petal and stem—drawn in delicate ink and vibrant gouache—tells a story of resilience: daisies and poppies, thistles and grasses, all tangled in a dance of letting go and holding on.
This moon is a keeper of seasons, a reminder that beauty lingers in the spaces between abundance and rest. Hang it where you need to remember the wildness in your own heart, and the quiet magic of gathering what you’ve grown.
