"Where You Belong" Mixed Media Moon Garden Painting
I have never painted like this before.
This piece is a turning point for me. I sat down with the paints I brought across the Atlantic and the biggest canvas I could find at the shop near my flat. What emerged was this moon garden inspired by echinacea and buttercups and a bird that demanded she belonged there.
This is the first large-format work in a new series that blends acrylics, paint markers and ink on stretched canvas.
It’s layered and emotional.
Whether this hangs as a centerpiece in your space or lives as a part of your evolving art collection, this painting (and the bird) brings with her the message that you belong where you want to belong.
