My Honest Review of The Success Academy by Boston Business Women (And Why It Changed How I Build My Businesses)

I joined Boston Business Women’s “The Success Academy” during a season where I had more ideas than structure, more passion than systems, and about seven different business concepts floating around in my head at all times. I was excited, lit up about entrepreneurship, but also completely overwhelmed by how many directions I could go.

Sound familiar?

If you’re multi-passionate, creative, neurodivergent, or constantly buzzing with ideas (hello fellow ADHD girlies + ManGen energy!), you’ll understand this feeling well. It’s exhilarating… and also paralyzing.

I wanted clarity.
I wanted organization.
I wanted a roadmap.

And that’s when I enrolled in The Success Academy.
Here’s my honest experience: what I loved, what surprised me, and who I think should take this course.

Why I Chose The Success Academy

I’d followed Kristina Tsipouras Miller, founder + CEO of Boston Business Women, for years. I watched her build community in a way that felt personal, powerful, and deeply supportive of women. Her energy, her honesty, and the way she thinks out loud? My brain felt so seen.

Also, a few of my friends were joining, so I thought, “Why not me too? Let’s go all in.” And honestly? I’m so glad I did.

First Impressions …

Session one was electric.
Fast-paced, high-value, no fluff…it felt like Kristina downloaded her entire brain into ours. Truly, it was like drinking from a firehose (and I mean that lovingly).

The Facebook group + Zoom accountability calls were a huge part of the experience. We showed up for each other, kept each other on track, and I felt held in community, not just another name on a roster.

There are SO many resources inside the course, but my personal favorite?

Module 3: Operations Organization

Because she gives you templates to build your whole business inside Google Drive. Meaning — you don't have to start by spending money on CRMs or expensive tools. As a bootstrapper, that was chef’s kiss.

What Changed for Me (aka, the good stuff)

I built systems that I still use today — across multiple businesses.

  • my art business

  • Boston Dog Moms (now 8,000+ members!)

  • and now my UK-based photography business

The structure helped me stop overthinking and start executing.

The course gave me:

✔ clarity around my offers
✔ actual organization (no more chaos tabs open in my brain)
✔ confidence and momentum
✔ a repeatable system I can revisit anytime

And I LOVE that it includes lifetime access, so as I'm launching my new photography business in a new country, I’m literally re-watching modules and building alongside it again.

This wasn’t just information. It shifted how I think as a business owner.

Who This Course Is For

If I could sit across from a woman like me …creative, multi-hyphenate, constantly birthing new ideas, I’d say:

Buy a BIG notebook and get ready to take a TON of notes.
You’re going to live in Google Drive for a while.
You’re going to find your people.
You’ll get accountability, structure, templates, and momentum.
You’ll get visible. You’ll stretch. You’ll grow.

You do NOT need to already have it all together.
You just need willingness to show up and take action.

This course is for you if:

  • you have ideas but not systems

  • you’re overwhelmed by where to start

  • you want support, community, and tools

  • you’re ready to actually build the business you’ve been dreaming about

  • you want a roadmap instead of YouTube rabbit holes

If your brain is a creative wildfire (in the best way), this program gives it direction.
