Are We in Outer Space? How to Style a Surreal Collage Four Different Ways

ARE WE IN OUTER SPACE:

Styling original art can be difficult. There's a difference between the licensed artwork you pick up at Target or Bed Bath and Beyond and the pieces you'll find here.  When buyers and merchandisers for big box stores are deciding what art to license, they're seeking pieces that they know you will see in the store and know that they easily and effortlessly fit into your home decor.  But the flip side of that is that those same pieces are also in a lot of other folks homes as well.  When you're drawn to unique pieces, they might require a little more vision to style in your home and that's what I'm showing you today.

Andi Garbarino here, artist and creator of playful and dramatic pieces such as the one above, Are We In Outer Space? Sea.  When you purchase one of my pieces, you're creating a cheerful, unique space you'll enjoy for years to come.  So let's get to it--let me show you how to style this surreal and feminine print for different decor styles including boho, coastal farmhouse, eclectic, and glamorous.

Today, we're putting. a little glam twist on boho style with a pewter frame.

BOHO INTERIOR.

The pewter frame might not be your traditional boho style, but I promise, with this fun, glamorous spin on bohemian interior design it will stand out in the crowd and bring on the cheer.

COASTAL FARMHOUSE INTERIOR.

Fun fact: I'm from Texas, where farmhouse is king. But also, I now live on the New England coast.  I've polled my followers so many times about interior styles, and Beach House vs. Farmhouse decor is always a toss up.  I was so excited when a friend told me about Coastal Farmhouse style! It's been fun to research this fusion of styles from places I love.  And I had even more fun incorporating this funky astronaut sea turtle painting into the mix!  See my picks below and shop the links under the photo of there are any accessories or furniture pieces you can't live without.

ECLECTIC INTERIOR.

My favorite style, always, always and always. ARE WE IN OUTER SPACE? SEA

I created Are We in Outer Space? Sea in the summer of 2020 right around the time that SpaceX launched the Dragon Capsule into space.  It also has a partner, Are We in Outer Space? Land and the two make quite a great pair! Although the original works of these pieces now belong to a collector in Arkansas, you can purchase prints in any size to fit your unique home decor.
