Artist Branding Shoot in Salem, MA with Amber Leilani Photography

Is it weird that I actually enjoy getting my photo taken now? It took me YEARS of hard work on myself to truly fall in love with who I am and the body that I’m in. Don’t get me wrong, I KNOW better than anyone that I am nowhere near perfect—but this me? I’ve been through so much, I’ve gotten myself through it (with a little and lot of help from my friends and family) and this body has been here for it all.

I’m so thankful for my friend and incredible branding photographer Amber Bruski of Amber Leilani Photography for getting some great photos of me in my art practice. (Not pictured: The part where this turned into a weird boudoir-like session with the grilled cheese sandwich that I had for lunch 😂 )

Even better? This entire shoot took place at Creative Harbor in Salem where I spend so much of my life.

Katie even told me that she thinks I’m that sunflower yellow couch’s biggest fan. And I think she’s right.

The physical space that I’m in influences my work and creativity SO MUCH, and getting to create and work at Creative Harbor is truly a gift. Where do you get your best work done these days?
